Our platforms -- Shoppertise Marketplace and Shoppertise Pocketbook -- are well-received in the digital commerce landscape and we are seeking to expand our operations in the coming year. Therefore, we are seeking an experienced Java developer to work closely with our engineering and product teams to integrate enterprise-level tools and bank-level security payment gateways into a mobile-friendly solution. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain and enhance highly innovative and user friendly website according to the specification and standard provided.

  • Create stunning user interfaces from provided design concepts by using HTML/CSS practices.

  • Integrate UI functionality with back-end services.

  • Research on latest web technologies and determine the feasibility of using them on the website.

  • Check cross browser compatibility for the web designs, at different resolutions across different platforms.

Requirements

Experience

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in Web development.

Technical

  • Experience with PHP/ AngularJS, JSON, RESTful, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery and responsive design.

  • Familiar with web application framework (AJAX/MVC).

  • Proficiency in cross browser compatibility.

Attitude

  • Team player with good interpersonal skills and comfortable with sharing opinions.

  • Ability to cope with tight deadlines and adhere to the delivery plan.

Other desirable traits

  • You have experience in developing e-commerce website

  • You have experience with JSP

  • You have knowledge in Automated Web Application Testing/Web Security/Social Media API/Web Analytics

  • You are generally comfortable with sharing your opinions

  • You have worked in the web development from the ground-up

  • You have worked with backend servers

  • You know where to find good food
