How to enable location service for your browser

Location Services allows location-based apps and websites (including Maps, Camera, Safari, and other Apple/Android and third-party apps) to use information from cellular, Wi-Fi, and Global Positioning System (GPS) networks to determine your approximate location. To use this feature with our website, you must enable Location Services on your device to allow the website access.

Firefox

  1. On your computer, open Firefox and go to the website that you would like to grant permission.
  2. To the left of the web address, click Lock
  3. Click Connection secure > More information.
  4. Select Permissions. After that, to the right of "Access your location," uncheck Use Default. Then, choose Allow.
  5. Reload the website.

Safari in MacOS

Important: To enable Location Service in Safari, you must have Location Services enabled in your MacOS System Preference.
  1. On your MacOS desktop, Click the Apple icon > System Preferences.
  2. Click the "Security & Privacy" icon. Then, select Privacy.
  3. In the bottom left, click the Lock icon so that it's unlocked.
  4. Check Enable Location Services.
  5. In the list, check Safari.
  6. Click the Lock icon so that it's locked.
  7. Open Safari browser and go to the website.

Turn on location services for specific apps

  1. On your Android phone, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap App & notifications.
  3. Tap Permission manager.
  4. Select the location feature.
  5. Enable the location service for the specific apps. For example: Chrome
  6. Select Allow only while using the app.

Turn on location services in iOS

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Privacy.
  3. Tap Location Services.
  4. Make sure Location Services is turned on.
  5. Scroll and select your browser app. For example: Chrome
  6. Choose While Using the App or Always.
