Air Plant - Tillandsia setacea

Material: Tillandsia setacea can have some good dark maroon color to the leaves when it's grown in bright light. As you can see from the photo it has tall, thin leaves much like those of T. juncifolia, T. juncea, and T. bartrami. This is an indication that in nature it is often subject to significant air movement, something to keep in mind if where you want to put it gets very little air (like in the house!). Actually, it should do fine in a home situation with bright light and the opportunity to dry out between waterings under the sink. Don't mist it as combined with the lack of air movement it will be liable to rot.
