Air Plant - Tillandsia Caput Medusae Small
The Tillandsia are odd little plants. They have no stems, they have no roots, and their leaves don't look anything at all like leaves. Oh, and they require no soil at all, either, and don't live in the ground. And they are related to . . . pineapples.

The Tillandsia Caput Medusae is also known as the Medusa's head plant for it's similarities (erratic snake hair with the plants foliage) with the Greek mythological character Medusa.

This species is a flowering air plant from the bromeliads family and is one of the most popular of the Tillandsia genus.
