Buyer Policy

Your rights and obligations as a buyer on the Shoppertise platform. When you use Shoppertise Services (which includes Shoppertise.com, Pocketbook.io, our mobile apps, and other services), you are responsible for complying with this policy, regardless of your location.

  1. Eligibility

    1. Any use or access to Shoppertise Services by anyone under 18 is strictly and expressly prohibited. By accessing or using Shoppertise Services, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.
    2. The Shoppertise Services are not available to buyers previously blacklisted or blocked by Shoppertise.
  2. Payments

    1. Buyers may authorise a payment with any major credit or debit card accepted by Shoppertise, by certain ATM /bank transfer services, cash or through PayPal.
    2. Buyers may purchase items from multiple shops in a single transaction using various payment methods.
    3. By making a purchase on Shoppertise, buyers agree in principle to use payment methods that are legal and above board, without any intention to impersonate any person by using a stolen or unauthorised debit and/or credit card.
    4. Shoppertise maintains records associated with transactions on Shoppertise Payments and does not pass any secure data, including credit card numbers or bank account information to any seller. Sellers will only receive shipping information and limited buyer account information necessary to complete the order.
  3. Disputes

    1. Disputes should be resolved directly with sellers or, if required with the assistance of the dispute management and refund services available on Shoppertise, and in accordance with our Seller Agreement and Terms of Use.
    2. In the event that a dispute is escalated to the Shoppertise Support Team, Shoppertise reserves the right to issue a refund to a buyer if a transaction is found to be in violation of the Shoppertise Seller Agreement and Terms of Use.
    3. A hold may be put on funds associated with a particular transaction if there is a dispute or investigation related to the order.
    4. In the event that a buyer submits a chargeback, Shoppertise will respond to the credit card networks on behalf of the seller involved in the transaction. Shoppertise reserves the right to recoup funds associated with buyer chargebacks.
  4. Refunds and returns

    1. We only accept returns due to the following reasons; and they must be in new condition, sealed, complete (free gifts, accessories, original packaging), with tags & labels attached, and not damaged.
      1. Damaged upon receiving
      2. Defective
      3. Does not fit
      4. Not as advertised
      5. Wrong item delivered
      6. Missing parts /items
      7. Product is expired
    2. Refunds through Shoppertise platform is only applicable to ATM /Bank transfer and payment card transactions. We will update you via email and WhatsApp once your refund has been initiated. You will be able to see the credited amount on your statement within 5-7 working days. Any funds paid by Shoppertise to cover refunds will be deducted from the seller’s payment account balance.
    3. In the Seller Agreement, seller has agreed to process returns of, and provide refunds and adjustments for, their goods or services through their Account in accordance with the Agreement and Network rules.
    4. Returns, refunds and the processing time may vary depending on each seller’s policy. Network rules require that Seller (a) maintain a fair return, cancellation or adjustment policy; (b) disclose their return or cancellation policy to Buyers at the time of purchase, (c) do not give cash refunds to a Buyer in connection with a card sale, unless required, and (d) do not accept cash or any other item of value when preparing a card sale refund.
    5. Fully refunded transactions may be eligible for cancellation in accordance with the Seller Agreement.
    6. The amount of the refund /adjustment must include any associated taxes required to be refunded and cannot exceed the amount shown as the total on the original sales data.
    7. If Seller accept returns and are making an uneven exchange of merchandise (e.g., the sale price is not the same), Seller must issue a credit to the buyer for the total amount of the merchandise being returned and complete a new sale for any new merchandise.
    8. Shoppertise and Sellers are only obliged to process refunds up to 5 days from the day we received payment. In the event that you have received damaged goods, please contact us within 48 hours to expedite the claim process.
    9. Shoppertise and Sellers do not provide partial refunds.
  5. Third-party services

    1. Shoppertise has engaged third-party service providers to perform many of the services related to payment processing, including card processing, currency exchange, identity verification, fraud analysis and regulatory compliance.
    2. Shoppertise partners with RHB Bank, MOLPay, PayPal, and other licensed payment processors to facilitate card payments, other payments and refunds. The provider and processing time for your payment will vary based on the country in which you're located.
    3. Shoppertise may share your personal or transactional information with these third-party service providers when necessary.
    4. If Shoppertise receives notice that a Seller's content or activity violates a third party's service agreement, we may at our sole discretion take action to comply with their policies. Such actions may include canceling a transaction, disabling listings from the Seller’s shop, suspending special privileges, or removing certain payment methods.
  6. Shoppertise rights and responsibilities

    1. Shoppertise Payments functionality may be made available, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice and is subject to the limitations stated in the Shoppertise Terms of Use.
    2. As a security measure, we may impose transaction limits on buyers and sellers. For example, we may impose limits relating to the value of any transaction, deposit, or adjustment, or limits relating to the cumulative value of all transactions, deposits, or adjustments during a period of time. We may also impose limits related to the number of transactions per day or any other period of time.
    3. Shoppertise may refuse service of Shoppertise Payments to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
    4. Shoppertise reserves the right to decline transactions that we believe to be high risk, fraudulent, or in violation of Shoppertise Terms of Use.
